Type a line, get a price. Calculations group into projects that carry the whole quote — material, labour, hardware, paint — and a cut plan for ordering.
I’m Nedim
Making work a little less tedious, one tool at a time.
If a daily task is slow or annoying, I tend to build something for it. The results are small, focused web apps for planning, number crunching, and the odd daily chore, and they live in Work. When a question needs a longer look, the answer goes in Notes. My day job is administration at a company in Konjic, and my weekends go to the mountains of Bosnia, logged in Trails. Or write to me via Contact.
Work
Decision-first weather planning inside Raycast on macOS and Windows, and Vicinae on Linux. It answers questions — which day this weekend, umbrella or not, which of two places is better — instead of just showing numbers.
One Raycast command — usage, quota history, and provider health from Claude, Cursor, Codex, Gemini, and more in a single view.
Vaktija
Prayer times for 118 Bosnian cities, computed on the device. Log each vakat, keep a Kur'an pace and a zikr count, and sync the vakats to Google Calendar.
Notes
Pick any of the 142 places on the map of Bosnia and Herzegovina: who lived there in 2013, where they were in 1991, how it compares with the country, and how it has voted since 2018.
The 2013 census, municipality by municipality and settlement by settlement, from the statistics offices’ own tables: who was counted, where they live, how old, the diaspora, and how the count compares with the voter roll. Ten parts.
My tracks and the marked hiking network around them, against the mine suspect areas mapped nearby: which walks crossed one, and how much of the network runs along their edge.
The Bosnian takvim is Sarajevo’s day moved by whole minutes, a month at a time. Against the sun computed for all 118 places it lists: close almost everywhere, and short of sunset in parts of Herzegovina in winter.
Trails
Livno — no water anywhere on the route: carry all of it from the hut
six summits above 2000 m on čvrsnica, plus a jeep that saved the last few kilometres
Vranica — the only water is the česma at the lake, so carry all you need for both days
